I think they said that due to repair work being finished the tickets were going on sale. Got me two tickets, second row on 1st tier.

Yeah I was there earlier this year and it hasn't changed since I first went years ago. 

I heard it was threatened with closure recently due to noise complaints being upheld and the owners subsequently being  ordered to carry out costly improvements.

However a google reveals this which implies a refurb is planned.
