last chance to see Kirsty Almeida and her band at Favela Chic this week - she plays Thursday 18th Feb. Having seen them I'd say catch them now as this girl is going places.

I went to this gig last Wednesday and it was really good. Great venue. Kirsty has a lot of energy and her band were incredible. I am involved in promoting the band, but having seen them live, I'd definitely recommend heading down there.

Kirsty brings her wondrous mix of murder lullabies, blues-folk beauty, voodoo tunes and bitter-sweet songs to FAVELA CHIC in East London for a set of four free shows this January and February. She will be performing with her amazingly multi-talented seven-piece band.

The incredible Joana and the wolf are playing at a free gig at Favela Chic in London on Wednesday 31st March. Their music is an exotic fusion of Russian folk, rock and and electro. Definitely worth checking out! I’ll be heading down there
