Morrissey announces showcase for BBC

Ex-Smiths singer Morrissey is to showcase songs from his latest album, 'Years Of Refusal' and perform some of his classic hits, at the BBC Radio Theatre in London next month, and is offering fans a chance to get tickets for the show.

Listeners are being invited to register for free tickets to attend the gig, which will be broadcast on BBC Radio 2 from 9pm on Wednesday 11th February, from the Radio 2 website.

The live performance from the BBC Radio Theatre in London takes place before Morrissey embarks on a world tour which includes performances at London's Royal Albert Hall and homecoming shows in Manchester.

A video of the session will also be available online for seven days on the Radio 2 website.

Fans have until 10pm on Thursday (15th January) to register for tickets from the BBC website. Tickets are free and will be allocated at random.
