Nickelback announce UK arena tour

Canadians Nickelback have announced their return to the UK for five arena shows next May in support of their new album 'Dark Horse.

The group has sold 27 million albums worldwide since their 2001 breakthrough of 'How You Remind Me', and 2005's 'All The Right Reasons' is one of the most successful albums of the decade.

The quartet have been working on their sixth album, and lead singer Chad Kroeger says of the new material, "I honestly think that with every song you release you have to keep winning your own fans over again. I want every single song to be amazing. That's what I want to hear, so that's what we have to try to provide to our fans."

The tour dates are as follows:
Fri 22 May MEN Arena, Manchester
Sat 23 May SECC, Glasgow
Mon 25 May Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle upon Tyne
Tue 26 May National Indoor Arena, Birmingham
Thu 28 May The 02 Arena, London

Tickets are priced at £33.50, Manchester £34, London £37.50 and will be available from 9am on Friday 5th December 2008.
