Seasick Steve announces fresh tour dates for January

tickets go on sale tomorrow, London date already on sale

news: Thursday 16th October 2008

American bluesman Seasick Steve has announced more fresh dates in January across the country starting at the Manchester Apollo, following on from his current sold-out tour and Top 10 album, 'I Started Out With Nothing And I Still Got Most Of It Left'. A great album which a certain music paper slammed.

The five confirmed dates will see him play to an audience of over 16,000 people and will culminate with another sizeable London date at the Hammersmith Apollo which already has tickets available.

This year has seen Seasick Steve's success continue where his previous album 'Dog House Music' (now past the 100,000 sales mark) left off, but his appearance on Later with Jools Holland proved to be one of the show's most memorable performances.

Seasick Steve's dates are as follows:
Fri 23 January Apollo, Manchester
Sun 25 January City Hall, Newcastle upon Tyne
Tue 27 January Carling Academy, Leeds
Thu 29 January Civic Hall, Wolverhampton
Sat 31 January Hammersmith Apollo, London

Tickets go on sale for most dates from 9am tomorrow (Friday 17th October) priced at £17.50 for all regional dates. The London date is priced at £19.50 and tickets are available to buy now, to purchase them
