Situated on the site of the former Town and Country Club on Cookridge Street. Leeds Academy has a maximum main room capacity of 2,300 (1,800 stalls, 500 balcony) for live music and club events. Underground is a 400 capacity space situated directly below the main Academy. Underground has two bars, seated areas, cloakroom, toilets and multiple screens to relay the live show from Leeds Academy, Underground will open from 6pm for main room gigs, with after parties featuring specialist DJs and guests on rotation.
