Vampire Weekend announce UK tour for November

Vampire Weekend have announced a five date UK arena tour in November. The November tour will see the band playing their biggest ever UK headline shows, including a London date at the 20,000 capacity The O2.

The New York band, who released their self titled first album in 2008 which spawned the singles 'Mansard Roof', 'A-Punk, 'Oxford Comma, 'Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa, and 'The Kids Don't Stand a Chance, and a second album, 'Contra' in 2010, dropped their third studio album, 'Modern Vampires of the City' two months ago.

Vampire Weekend will be joined by special guests Noah And The Whale on all dates, which are:

Tue 12 November National Indoor Arena (NIA), Birmingham
Wed 13 November The O2, London
Fri 15 November The Hydro, Glasgow
Sat 16 November First Direct Arena, Leeds
Sun 17 November Manchester Arena, Manchester

Tickets will be priced from £22.50 (£21 London) and go on sale at 9am opn Friday 12th July, and eGigs will have links to buy them then.
