Olly Murs and Amy Macdonald added to Mencap's Little Noise Sessions line-up

More acts have been added to the line-up for Mencap's Little Noise Sessions held again this year at St.John-at-Hackney from Tuesday 20th until Sunday ­25th November 2012.

Now in their seventh year, Mencap's Little Noise Sessions take world-class bands out of their comfort zone to present a rawer, purer sound meaning the crowd get to witness something very special each night.

X Factor's Olly Murs is confirmed to headline Tuesday 20th November, with support coming from pop four-piece Lawson, and Britain's Got Talent's Loveable Rogues.

The headliner for Sunday 25th November, has also been announced as multimillion album selling Scottish singer/songwriter Amy Macdonald. She will be joined by Sweden's Karin Park, and other special guests still to be announced.

Friday's special guest joining The Maccabees, and Jamie N Commons is London songstress Jessie Ware.

Pre-sale tickets for Tuesday 20th November and Sunday 25th November will be available from 9am on Monday 29th October to people who have signed up to the Mencap Little Noise backstage area. Tickets will go on general sale on Wednesday 31st October, with all proceeds going to the learning disability charity, Mencap.

There are 1.5 million people with a learning disability in the UK, who are among the most excluded and disadvantaged people in our society. Money raised at Mencap's Little Noise Sessions will go to Mencap arts awards projects to help people with a learning disability. Mencap directly supports people with a learning disability to live their lives as they choose and challenge prejudice.
