Rodrigo y Gabriela add London show to UK tour dates

Mexican acoustic rock guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela will be back on the road in the UK this Autumn; bringing their unique instrumental blend of metal, jazz and world music.

Rodrigo Sanchez and Gabriela Quintero have been playing guitar together for more than fifteen years. First as young thrash metal fans in their native Mexico City, then as street musicians in Dublin at the turn of the Millennium before finding global fame as an acoustic guitar virtuoso duo.

These new live performances will see them focus on the extraordinary interplay between Rod's fiery lead lines and Gab's phenomenal rhythmic battery; with the fresh addition of Alex Wilson on piano.

Having worked with Alex on the arrangements and recording of their latest album 'Area 52' which was recorded in Havana with a thirteen piece Cuban orchestra. Rodrigo y Gabriela are excited to show their fans what an amazing and captivating sound can be created by three musicians, twelve strings and eighty-eight keys.

Tickets are on sale now for Birmingham, Manchester and Bristol priced at £20 buy here. Tickets for the London show, priced at £25 go on sale at 9am tomorrow, Friday 28th September, and eGigs will have links to buy them then.
