Keane announce end of year tour

Following the success of their fifth consecutive number one album 'Strangeland', Keane have announced a UK & Ireland Arena tour beginning in November 2012.

The November tour announcement comes ten years after their first ever band gig, at the Betsey Trotwood in London where they played to just 50 people.

Singer Tim Rice-Oxley said, "We still find it amazing that we get to play those big gigs, and we never take it for granted. So we'll be making these shows very special and doing our utmost to give every single person there an unforgettable night. Keane fans are the best in the world, always singing their hearts out, and we feel like our music is at its best when it is echoing around those big rooms and being sung by thousands of people - it's a magical thing for us to be a part of and we can't wait to experience it again."

Keane have also revealed they will release 'Disconnected' as their next single from the May released 'Strangeland'. Details to be announced.

Thu 22 November Waterfront Hall, Belfast
Wed 28 November The Capital FM Arena, Nottingham
Thu 29 November MEN Arena, Manchester
Fri 30 November The O2 Arena, London
Sun 02 December Brighton Centre, Brighton
Mon 03 December Winter Gardens, Margate
Tue 04 December BIC, Bournemouth

Tickets will go on general sale on Friday 10th August at 9am and eGigs will hyave links to buy them then.
