Inspiral Carpets announce their first gigs in 4 years

Manchester's recently reformed Inspiral Carpets have announced their first UK gigs in 4 years.

The band who recently reformed with their original frontman Stephen Holt who replaces Tom Hingley have also announced the release of their first new single in 16 years to coincide with the March tour.

The line-up on tour will consist of Clint Boon, Craig Gill, Stephen Holt, Graham Lambert, and Martyn Walsh.

Recorded last month 'You're So Good For Me' will be backed with a reworking of the band's 1985 classic 'Head For the Sun' and is available as a digital download now.

Next year a CD and limited edition 7" vinyl version will be released in January, and the 'This Is How It Feels' act are already planning on getting back in the studio to record more new material in the coming months.

Sun 18 March The Waterfront, Norwich
Wed 21 March Wedgewood Rooms, Portsmouth
Thu 22 March Assembly, Leamington Spa
Fri 23 March O2 ABC, Glasgow
Sat 24 March HMV Ritz, Manchester

Tickets are priced at £19.50 London, £18.50 Leamington and £20 Manchester and go on general sale at 9am this Friday 25th November, and eGigs will have links to buy them then.
