Oli Brown announces April tour

tickets will go on sale on Friday

news: Wednesday 2nd November 2011

22-year-old British guitarist Oli Brown has announced his biggest headline tour to date in April next year.

Oli, one of the most promising Blues acts to emerge in the UK, has been almost constantly on the road with tours across Europe, America, Canada and New Zealand.

Once he completes tour dates with John Mayall, Oli will head into the studio to work on an as yet untitled third album, set for an April 2012 release to coincide with the tour. The album will follow last year's 'Heads I Win Tails You Lose' which was produced by Mike Vernon (Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton), who came out of retirement especially to work with him, after hearing his debut album, 2008's, 'Open Road'.

Oli Brown and his band will play the following dates:

Wed 11 April Manchester Academy, Manchester
Thu 12 April The Duchess, York
Fri 13 April The Caves, Edinburgh
Sat 14 April O2 ABC 2, Glasgow
Sun 15 April The Lemon Tree, Aberdeen
Tue 17 April O2 Academy, Newcastle upon Tyne
Wed 18 April The Rescue Rooms, Nottingham
Thu 19 April O2 Academy, Birmingham
Fri 20 April Exeter Phoenix, Exeter
Sat 21 April The Tunnels, Bristol
Sun 22 April O2 Academy Islington, London

Tickets for Oli's tour go on sale at 9am on Friday 4th November, and eGigs will have links to buy them then.
