The Stranglers take to the road in March

The Stranglers who have been busy in the studio writing and recording their seventeenth studio album which is due for release next year return to play a series of dates across the UK in March 2012 with The Popes as Special Guests.

The band take to the road to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the initial release and success of debut single 'Grip' and their legendary first album 'Rattus Norvegicus'. The band hope to road test a couple of the new tunes along with a combination of classics from their 37 year career which features 24 top 40 hits - including 'Peaches', 'No More Heroes', '5 Minutes', 'Duchess', 'Something Better Change', 'Always the Sun', and their ultimate classic 'Golden Brown'.
