London rapper Example has followed up on last week's number one single, 'Stay Awake', with his third album release, 'Playing in the Shadows' debuting at number one in this week's album charts. To celebrate Example has announced his first ever arena tour for April 2012.

Example has already topped the charts this year with 'Changed The Way You Kiss Me' which held the No.1 position in the UK charts earlier this year for 2 weeks beating Coldplay to the top selling over 300,000 copies, now certified gold and has been ranked as one of the biggest selling singles of the year.

The new 12-track long player features collaborations with a wealth of producers including Nero, Faithless, Chase & Status, Funkagenda, Skream, Laidback Luke and Brookes Brothers.

Example appeared live at festivals all over country this summer including Glastonbury, Wireless, Lovebox, Big Chill, V2011, Creamfields and more. Having previously announced a sold out 17-date headline UK tour running throughout November and December this new arena tour sees him play the following dates next year.

Tue 24 April AECC, Aberdeen
Thu 26 April The Capital FM Arena, Nottingham
Fri 27 April The O2 Arena, London
Sat 02 April Manchester Evening News Arena, Manchester
Mon 30 April Bournemouth International Centre, Bournemouth

Tickets are priced at £23.50 (£25 London), and will go on sale at 9am on Friday 16th September and eGigs will have links to buy them then.
