news: Tuesday 8th March 2011

Taking Back Sunday have confirmed their first ever UK dates with their original line-up ahead of the release of a new studio album this summer.

With a brand new studio album set for release this summer, the classic Taking Back Sunday line-up that recorded their 2002 debut album 'Tell All Your Friends' will play the UK for the first time ever when they hit the road in May.

Rejoining long term members Adam Lazzara (vocals), 'punk for life' Eddie Reyes (guitar) and Mark O'Connell (drums) are John Nolan (guitar/vocals) and Shaun Cooper (bass), who left the band in 2003 to form Straylight Run.

The currently untitled new album was produced by Eric Valentine (Queens of the Stone Age, Lostprophets) who also helmed Taking Back Sunday's 2006 release 'Louder Now'.

Taking Back Sunday will play the following dates before embarking upon a major North American tour:

Thu 12 May Guildhall, Southampton
Fri 13 May Academy 1, Manchester
Sat 14 May Rock City, Nottingham
Mon 16 May Barrowlands, Glasgow
Tue 17 May O2 Academy, Liverpool
Wed 18 May Pavilion, Bath
Fri 20 May Roundhouse, London

Tickets go on sale from 9am on Friday March 11th at a price of £17.50 for London and £16.50 for all regional dates, and eGigs will have links to buy them then.
