Bring Me The Horizon to tour with Parkway Drive, Architects + The Devil Wears Prada

tickets for April dates on sale tomorrow

news: Thursday 16th December 2010

Fresh off the back of playing their biggest shows to date, Sheffield hardcore metallers Bring Me The Horizon have announced an 8 date UK headline tour for April 2011.

Joining Bring Me The Horizon on the road will be a selection of modern metal bands including Byron Bay Australians Parkway Drive, Brighton rising stars Architects, and US metalcore outfit The Devil Wears Prada.

"Every tour we are currently doing is gearing up for this tour. It's going to be our biggest and most ambitious tour to date." said Bring Me The Horizon vocalist Oli Sykes. "I can say for myself, and I think for our fans, this is the best line up of bands on one bill we have ever put together. I mean BMTH, Parkway Drive, Architects and TDWP all on one tour? In the UK? How could it be better?"

Sam Carter of Architects is equally excited about the tour, "This tour is insane! Has anyone ever seen a line up this good? Seriously?! This tour is going to be absolutely huge!"

TDWP frontman Mike added, "Our band has a bad habit of neglecting territory outside of the US. When we do head overseas, were lucky to have excellent opportunities, such as the upcoming run with Bring Me The Horizon. We're very stoked to be a part of the BMTH UK tour in the spring."

And Winston, Parkway Drive frontman added: "BMTH in the UK!? I don't think it gets much crazier does it? It looks like it's shaping up to be THE tour of 2011, we can't wait!"

Bring Me The Horizon, Parkway Drive, Architects, and The Devil Wears Prada will play the following dates:

Fri 22 April O2 Apollo, Manchester
Sat 23 April O2 Academy, Newcastle upon Tyne
Tue 26 April Rock City, Nottingham
Wed 27 April Southampton Guildhall, Southampton
Thu 28 April O2 Academy, Birmingham
Fri 29 April O2 Academy, Bristol
Sat 30 April O2 Brixton Academy, London

Tickets are a bargain at £15 (£16 London) and go on general from 9am on Friday 17th December, and eGigs will have links to buy them then.
