Take That extend their tour dates

tickets will go on sale Friday

news: Tuesday 7th December 2010

Take That have extended their run of UK tour dates, with four brand new dates to their record-breaking Progress Live 2011 UK Tour.

In order to accommodate an extra date at Wembley, it has been necessary to reschedule the planned show on Sunday 3rd July for Thursday 30th June. The promoters apologise for the inconvenience this may cause but tickets remain valid for customers who have already bought them for Sunday 3rd July. Anyone who cannot make the rescheduled date is eligible for a full refund from their point of purchase.

The band commented "We are really sorry to have to move the dates in London but we'd heard that there was a lot of disappointment from those not being able get tickets and this was the only way that we could fit in another show. We hope everyone understands and look forward to seeing you all next year."

The extra date added at London's Wembley Stadium see's Take That break another record by becoming the only act ever to play eight dates at the Stadium, a previous record held by Michael Jackson who played seven nights on his 1988 Bad World Tour.

The newly announced dates are:

Fri 27 May Stadium Of Light, Sunderland
Sat 28 May Stadium Of Light, Sunderland
Sun 12 June City of Manchester Stadium, Manchester
Mon 04 July Wembley Stadium, London

Tickets for this new run will go on sale at 10am on Friday 10th December, and eGigs will have links to buy them then.

'Progress Live 2011' will chart the evolution and progress of Take That and Robbie Williams through their 20-year history. The live shows will celebrate Take That's biggest hits from the last two decades and, will also see Robbie take to the stage to perform some of his solo material on the tour.

Tickets are priced from £55 to £90.
