Saxon return in April as part of their world tour

tickets will go on sale on tomorrow

news: Thursday 25th November 2010

Heavy metal legends Saxon return to the UK in April with 12 dates as Part 1 of their World Tour 2011. They will be joined on this tour by metallers Wolfsbane and Fury UK.

Saxon are to release the long awaited follow up to their current album 'Into The Labyrinth' in March. The band have had a busy year, which included performing at the Download Festival in June, where to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the first Monsters of Rock Show, they played their legendary 'Wheels of Steel' album in it's entirety for the first time ever.

As is becoming an almost yearly custom for Saxon, they will perform at the 02 Shepherds Bush Empire in London on St. Georges Day, 23rd April, which promises to be a loud, rocking celebration of England's patron saint.

Biff Byford says – "It will be great to get back on tour in the UK. I think next year we will bring more Marshall's and get back to audience and band, as one together. Good to see the London show is on St Georges Day – I'm sure there will be lots of flags on stage. See you all soon, keep the faith."
