tickets will go on sale on Friday

news: Wednesday 3rd November 2010

Three quarters of Kyuss the influential American stoner rock/metal band have announced they will reunite under the name Kyuss Lives and will play six UK gigs next year.

The band's will feature members of the original line-up including John Garcia, Nick Oliveri and Brant Bjork, with Bruno Fevery added as the band's guitarist. The band's original drummer Josh Homme has said he will not be involved. Following Kyuss' split in 1995, both Homme and Oliveri played together in Queens Of The Stone Age.

John Garcia said of the tour, "You know, the whole reason I ever considered doing this with Brant and Nick was the feeling we all shared during Hellfest this year. To be able to play with such amazing musicians again is a dream come true for me. This will also be a huge chance for me to let everyone know about Garcia Vs Garcia which should be coming out Fall of next year."

Kyuss Lives' UK tour dates are as follows:

Thu 31 March Rock City, Nottingham
Fri 01 April Wulfrun, Wolverhampton
Sat 02 April HMV Forum, London
Mon 04 April O2 ABC, Glasgow
Tue 05 April Manchester Academy (University), Manchester
Wed 06 April O2 Academy, Bristol

Tickets for these shows will go on sale at 9am on Friday, 5th November and eGigs will have links to buy them then.
