line-up announced for Winter Wonderland in aid of Oxfam

Oxfam and charity partner Xfm have announced the line-ups for its flagship Winter Wonderland shows held in Manchester and London in December.

Winter Wonderland is and annual series of live shows, which bring the year to an end with big names and up-and-coming stars sharing the stage. This year, Winter Wonderland hopes to raise tens of thousands of pounds for Oxfam's vital work in more than 70 countries worldwide.

The line-up for Manchester Academy on Wednesday 8th December includes The Wombats, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Futureheads, Mystery Jets, The View, and Everything Everything.

On Wednesday 15th December at O2 Academy Brixton the line-up will be headed up by Manic Street Preachers, leading a bill that includes White Lies, Two Door Cinema Club, The Drums, and Mona with special guests still to be announced.

Mike Walsh, Head of Music at Xfm, said, "We're proud to say that Winter Wonderland is back and once again bringing the best live music to two of the greatest cities in the world. It's always an amazing night out for Xfm's listeners and the artists alike so this is an event that is not to be missed."

Winter Wonderland will be held from 7pm in Manchester and 6pm in London. Advanced tickets will be priced at £20 for Manchester and £25 for London, and will go on sale at 9am on Friday, 5th November and eGigs will have links for you to buy tickets then.
