Rob Zombie plans the first UK tour in 12 years

tickets will go on sale this Friday

news: Monday 11th October 2010

White Zombie founder Rob Zombie is set for a return to the UK stage after a 12 year hiatus. Rob and his band, featuring John 5 (guitar), Piggy D (bass) and Joey Jordison (drums) will play six dates this coming February, finally bringing their visually-arresting, high-octane, pyro-laden, monster stage show to UK shores.

Rob said of the tour, "I am thrilled to be finally heading back to the UK. I have been away far too long, but trust me it will be worth the wait. The band is in top form and completely ready to destroy."

The current album, 'Hellbilly Deluxe 2..', came a dozen years after its predecessor, 'Hellbilly Deluxe', which established Zombie as a solo artist following the demise of White Zombie.

In addition to the album, the 'Mars Needs Women' EP is available from today at all good digital stores. As well as the title track the package also offers 'What? (The Naughty Cheerleader Mix)', 'Jesus Frankenstein (Halfway To Hell And Loving It Mix)' and 'Sick Bubblegum (Men Or Monsters…Or Both? Mix)'.

UK fans can be assured the full Zombie spectacular is coming their way with support from Skindred and Revoker for all shows. The tour dates are as follows:

Wed 16 February O2 Brixton Academy, London
Thu 17 February Manchester Academy, Manchester
Fri 18 February O2 Academy, Newcastle upon Tyne
Sun 20 February O2 Academy, Glasgow
Mon 21 February O2 Academy, Leeds
Tue 22 February O2 Academy, Birmingham

Tickets will go on sale 9am this Friday, 15th October priced at £26.50 regionally and £29.50 London, and eGigs will have links to buy them then.
