Deadmau5 adds two new dates to Brixton Academy May Bank Holiday takeover

after first show sells out

news: Wednesday 13th January 2010

Dance music star Deadmau5 has sold out his inaugural show at O2 Academy Brixton and due to demand has announced a further two consecutive dates at the venue on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd May.

The three night May Bank Holiday takeover will be Deadmau5' biggest UK shows to date. The Saturday night show will be an 18+ show with a 3am finish and as an extra special treat for younger mau5 fans, the final Sunday evening show will be an all ages show ending at 11pm.

Canadian born Joel Zimmerman aka Deadmau5 wears a 'mau5head' during live shows and for the first time in the UK his new L.E.D mau5head will be sported. Deadmau5's sets consist mainly of his own material, where he assembles tracks on the fly, using cutting edge computer technology, including software he's helped develop himself.

The Brixton live performances will coincide with the May 2010 release of his first artiste album. The event will feature exclusive cutting edge production, video and lighting systems.

Tickets are on general sale now priced at £26.50, to buy tickets, click here.
