Pavement add another Brixton Academy date

Reforming alt rockers Pavement have added a fourth and final show at the Brixton Academy in London, and a date in Glasgow to their sell out appearances. Their All Tomorrow's Parties show and 3 headline shows at London's Brixton Academy have already sold out.

Pavement split in 1999, playing one final show in London's Brixton Aacdemy singer Stephen Malkmus appeared on stage with his hands chained to the mic stand. Issuing a statement to fans shortly after Pavement explained that they were simply too tired to continue.

As previously revealed after years of speculation, the American band of the 1990s is returning to the stage with the line-up of Mark Ibold, Scott 'Spiral Stairs' Kannberg, Stephen Malkmus, Bob Nastanovich and Steve West reuniting for dates around the world next year.

The new shows are as follows:
Wed 05 May Barrowland, Glasgow
Mon 10 May O2 Brixton Academy, London
