James announce UK tour and new album details

Madchester scenesters James have unveiled details of a UK tour for next April 'The Mirrorball Tour', features 10 dates in support of their new mini album 'The Night Before'.

The band, who had a sell out arena tour in December 2008 and a top 10 album with 'Hey Ma' have had a career that includes 10 studio albums, twenty UK Top 40 singles including 'How Was It For You', 'Come Home', 'Sit Down' and 'Lose Control', and 12 million albums sold.

Guitarist Larry Gott said, "We are getting to re-visit some venues for the first time in ages, most notably The Royal Albert Hall, last visited on the 'meat is murder' tour supporting fellow Manc mukkers Moz/Marr etc, back in '85. All of us are working hard on the batch of songs that will become the first of two mini albums released next year and they are sounding great! We even have a title (gasp!) 'The Night Before' It will be out in April 2010."

The Tim Booth fronted seven piece play the following dates:

Tickets for the tour go on sale from 9.30am this Thursday (3rd December) and eGigs will have links to buy tickets then.
