BUGGEDOut! and Arcadia to host New Year's eve bash in Bristol

with Altern8, Simian Mobile Disco, Friendly Fires, and more

BUGGEDOut! and Arcadia team up with protagonists from Glastonbury's Dance Village for a huge new year's eve extravaganza, on Thursday 31st December 2009, at Motion, Bristol.

The event will feature five venues occupying the skatepark, nightclub, night garden, a big top in the car park, and an entire disused warehouse next-door housing Arcadia's constructions.

Arcadia will fill the warehouse with its retro-futuristic scrap-yard creations. Flame-spitting Victorian lampposts and smoke-spewing metallic trees which will frame performers hanging from cranes and scurrying across the rafters.

Their futuristic creation – the love-child of a rocket jet and a DJ booth – the 'Afterburner' will provide a soundtrack from the likes of Altern8, Disco Of Doom, Rogue Element, and Tom Real replete with lasers and pyrotechnic displays.

The music line-up will at the the venue's skatepark taken over for the night by BUGGEDOut! will include Simian Mobile Disco, Rusko, Roni Size and Dynamite MC, and Redclipz.

While locals The Blast and Just Jack host the nightclub's two rooms and the ‘Lost Disco’, a venue accessible only via a tunnel into the carpark, and offer a line-up that includes Friendly Fires (midnight DJ set), Seth Troxler, Ed Karney, Tom Rio, Dan Wild, Deepgroove, Crystal Fighters, Casper C, Craig Torrance, D*Minds, Reso, Ben UFO, Shortstuff, and Koan Sound.
