Jared Leto's 30 Seconds To Mars to play one off London show

30 Seconds To Mars fronted by actor Jared Leto have confirmed they will be making a one-off exclusive performance at London's KoKo on Mon 16th November.

The show will give fans the opportunity to hear the first cuts from the forthcoming album 'This Is War' due for release here in December. The album is the follow up to 2007's 'A Beautiful Lie', and their 2002 self titled debut album.

30 Seconds To Mars have already given their fans the chance to sing on the band's new album and are now letting fans grace the 'This Is War' cover.

The first 2,000 people who submit their face to the 'Faces of Mars' campaign on the 30 Seconds website and who meet the specifications will be on one of 2,000 individual covers for the album going into shops.

Frontman Jared Leto is quoted as saying, "This is something that's being done for the very first time, so from the graphic art side of things, it's very compelling and unique. To be able to turn the camera away from the band and toward the audience I think follows in the tradition and spirit of 30 Seconds to Mars. I thought that the 'Faces of Mars' campaign would be a way to acknowledge all the people who have supported us throughout the years."

Tickets for the Koko date will go on sale at 9am this Friday, 2nd October, and eGigs will have links to buy tickets then.
