Placebo announce winter tour

Brian Molko and Placebo have announced a five date tour for the UK this December, in addition to their three festival appearances this summer.

The band will return to tour following the release of their sixth studio album 'Battle For The Sun', expected on Monday 8th June. Their first new album since the release of 'Meds' in 2006.

Placebo have a thirteen year history that includes five studio albums, ten million album sales, breakdowns, clean ups and global success. Placebo are also set to appear at Reading and Leeds Festivals in August, and Rockness Festival, Scotland in June.

The winter tour dates are as follows:
Tue 08 December LG Arena, Birmingham
Wed 09 December O2 Arena, London
Fri 11 December Spa Theatre & Royal Hall, Bridlington
Sat 12 December Manchester Central, Manchester
Mon 14 December SECC, Glasgow

Tickets will be priced at £25, except London which will be £26.50, and will go on sale at 9am on Friday 29th May, and eGigs will have links to buy tickets then.
