Bring Me The Horizon's guitarist quits

and news of five shows in October

news: Thursday 19th March 2009

It looks as though guitarist Curtis Ward has left metalcore band Bring Me The Horizon in the middle of their current 'Rockstar Taste Of Chaos Tour'. Reports say that he will be replaced on the remaining shows by the band's guitar tech.

Currently in the US, Curtis and the band have made the mutual decision to part ways based on personal differences, but remain firm friends as they have done since the band's inception in Sheffield in 2004.

The band's label and management say that they wish to emphasize that all live dates, festivals and tours will be played, with stand in guitarist - the band's guitar technician, and integral part of the touring party, Dean Rowbotham.

The band recently released details of five shows in the UK in October on the following dates:

Thu 22 October Barrowland (1 & 2), Glasgow
Fri 23 October Manchester Academy (1, 2, 3 & 4), Manchester
Sat 24 October O2 Academy, Birmingham
Sun 25 October Roundhouse Theatre, London
Mon 26 October University of East Anglia (UEA), Norwich

Tickets for these shows are available now, priced at £14 (£15 for London). To buy tickets, click here.
