The Specials announce one off outdoor headline show in Leeds

Ska legends The Specials who are reuniting for their 2009 tour in April and early May which quickly sold out, have announced a one off outdoor headline show confirmed for Millennium Square, Leeds on Bank Holiday Sunday 24th May.

Coventry's finest who are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year will be playing hits such as 'A Message To You, Rudy', 'Too Much Too Young', and 'Ghost Town Revisited' to over 7000 2-tone fans.

The band who split in 1981 lit up the late 70's like a comet, their melding of punk and ska creating the 2-tone sound that is still today held up as an influence by bands across the world. Now, thirty years since the release of their debut single, 'Gangsters', The Specials return to the stage once more.

Gates will open at 4:30pm and there is a full supporting bill of special guests will be announced.
