Doves announce tour in March, and free downloads

Indie rockers Doves have finally done something to follow up their last broadcast 'Some Cities' which had its release four year's ago. The band are set to release their fourth studio album, 'Kingdom of Rust' on Monday 6th April 2009, which is to be preceded by the title track as a single on Monday 30th March, both on Heavenly Recordings.

The Mancunion trio's return will be herald by the band giving away an exclusive track from 'Kingdom of Rust' available to download now from www.doves.net for a two week period. The track is 'Jetstream', which gives some hint as to the new direction of the band.

Doves last toured properly in 2005, and since then they have only a played a handful of 'one off' shows. From March however, Doves are to embark on a tour of small venues across the UK.
