Maximo Park announce nationwide tour

After a year of writing, recording and a smattering of festivals, Newcastle indie quintet Maximo Park are back on the road touring the country in May.

The band have been putting together their third album in Los Angeles with producer Nick Launay, and it is due for release to coincide with the tour. Frotman Paul Smith revealed, "We're raring to go, especially since we've just crafted a record that's imbued with the kind of uplifting spirit that Britain's crying out for in these troubled economic times. Our audience are far from passive, which makes for a unique atmosphere at each show."
