The Virgins announce UK leg of European tour

New York natives The Virgins have announced a European tour which hits the UK in April and includes a date at London's Heaven.

The band, who formed in 2005, are also confirmed to headline Club NME at Koko on Friday 27th March. Their new single 'Teen Lovers' is released on Monday 23rd February through Atlantic Records. The track is taken from their hotly anticipated self-titled debut album, which will be out in April.

Thu 16 April The Ruby Lounge, Manchester
Fri 17 April Cabaret Voltaire, Edinburgh
Sat 18 April King Tut's Wah Wah Hut, Glasgow
Mon 20 April The Cluny, Newcastle upon Tyne
Wed 22 April The Cockpit, Leeds
Thu 23 April Heaven, London

The four piece who toured in the United Kingdom with The Pigeon Detectives in November have been tipped as one of the bands to watch in 2009. Tickets are priced at £7.50 except in London where they are £9. To buy tickets, where available, click here.
