Future Of The Left cancel all their tour dates

from tonight until the end of the year

news: Friday 21st November 2008

Alt rock group Future Of The Left, who formed from the ashes of mclusky, have cancelled the whole of their upcoming UK tour, as well as shows in Australia and China in the New Year.

In a statement the group say, "We are unfortunately having to pull all shows for the foreseeable future. This is because our busy year has meant we have been unable to write the second record and we are increasingly aware of the need to do so. We want to get it out before summer so we can spend next year playing it to people.

It is against everything the band stands for to pull shows, or anything that we have already committed to doing, and we apologise to everyone who had bought a ticket or was going to come along. We will be back as soon as we can next year and we promise to make it worth the wait."

The effected tour dates are as follows:
Fri 21 November The Rainbow, Birmingham
Sat 22 November Astoria 2, London
Sun 23 November Xscape Castleford, Leeds
Mon 24 November The Cluny, Newcastle upon Tyne
Tue 25 November Nice n Sleazy, Glasgow
Wed 26 November Jailhouse, Hereford
Thu 27 November Amersham Arms, London

Those who had tickets for any of their dates are advised to contact their point of sale for refunds.
