The singer, who has just released his 27th album '24 Hours', will be performing three tracks outside the Royal Festival Hall at 3pm.
Jones will be accompanied by an acoustic guitarist for the gig, which will be recorded for BBC2's The Culture Show as part of their 'British Busking Challenge' which features artists performing for charity. Previous busking performances on the programme have included Supergrass, Moby, and Dirty Pretty Things.
