Oxfam announce line-up for Winter Wonderland

Kaiser Chiefs, Iglu & Hartly, Scouting For Girls, The View, The Music, and more

Oxfam and charity partner Xfm have announced the line-ups for its flagship Winter Wonderland shows held in Manchester and London in December.

Winter Wonderland is and annual series of live shows, which bring the year to an end with big names and up-and-coming stars sharing the stage. This year, Winter Wonderland hopes to raise tens of thousands of pounds for Oxfam's vital work in more than 70 countries worldwide.

The line-up for Tuesday 2nd December at the Brixton Academy, London includes headliners the Kaiser Chiefs, leading a bill that includes Iglu & Hartly, Ida Maria, Ladyhawke, and White Lies with special guests still to be announced.

On Monday 8th December at Academy 1, Manchester the line-up will be headed up by Scouting For Girls, with The View, The Music, The Subways, The Automatic, Cage The Elephant, and Kid British.

Gareth Simpson, head of events and community fundraising at Oxfam, said, "Through Oxjam and our work across the summer festivals, Oxfam has always had very close links with music fans, and we're delighted to be working with Xfm to take this further."

Mike Walsh, Head of Music at Xfm, said, "Bringing together the stars of tomorrow and today's hottest bands, this year's Winter Wonderland gigs promise to be bigger and better than ever. We're delighted that Winter Wonderland will raise awareness and funds for Oxfam's vital work both in this country and around the world."

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 7th November 7 and eGigs will have links for you to buy tickets then.
