Eric Clapton announces tour next May

Blues-rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter Eric Clapton has announced a run of shows throughout May next year. The guitarist has had an illustrious career with The Yardbirds, Cream, and as a solo performer.

Clapton who released his last album in 2006 'The Road to Escondido' will perform at the Liverpool Echo Arena and the Manchester Evening News Arena, and then start on an eleven night run at the Royal Albert Hall, London.

The guitarist has said that playing the Royal Albert Hall is "like playing in my front room."
