Oasis announce biggest ever open air tour

Manchester's best known siblings, the Gallagher brothers have announced that their band Oasis will undertake their biggest ever tour of open air venues in the UK and Ireland next summer.

It includes two dates at the new Wembley Stadium as well as the promised homecoming shows over two nights in Manchester's Heaton Park. The tour will also see the band travel to Sunderland's Stadium of Light, Murrayfield, and Cardiff's Millennium Stadium. the support acts have been announced as The Enemy, and Kasabian.

The band are presently on a sold out tour of the UK, (which includes two nights at Wembley Arena) which saw all 180,000 tickets sell out as quickly as phone lines and internet sites could process applications. This tour is likely to have the same high demand.

New album 'Dig Out Your Soul', the first album to be released on Oasis' own Big Brother Recordings label has given the band their best first week of international chart results in over a decade.

Sun 07 June Heaton Park, Manchester
Wed 10 June Stadium of Light, Sunderland
Fri 12 June Millennium Stadium, Cardiff
Wed 17 June Murrayfield, Edinburgh
Sat 11 July Wembley Stadium, London
Sun 12 July Wembley Stadium, London

Tickets for these shows go on sale at 10am on Friday 24th October, and eGigs will have links available to buy them then.
