Industrial rockers Filter and nu metallers P.O.D. are to return to the UK in early 2009 for a co-headlining tour.

P.O.D. (the initials stand for Payable On Death) come from San Diego, California, and are best known in this country for 2001's hit single 'Alive'. Their new album 'When Angels & Serpents Dance' was released in April this year.

With guitarist Marcos Curiel returning to the fold after a 4 year absence, singer Sonny says "For me, the fun part right now is just seeing Marcos up there on stage - I've always loved his sound and tone. I'm really looking forward to touring and goofing around with the guys. We are excited to be coming back to the U.K. our shows there have always been memorable."

Filter formed in 1993 in Cleveland, Ohio are probably best known for the song 'Jurassitol' on 'The Crow: City of Angels' soundtrack and are fronted by singer Richard Patrick (former guitarist with Nine Inch Nails). Filter's new album 'Anthems For The Damned' is their first after a five year break, and was released in May this year.
