news: Thursday 21st August 2008

Manchester's indie-electro outfit The Whip announce their biggest UK tour to date! Kicking off in November it will see the four-piece traversing the country.

To celebrate their new tour The Whip also announce the release of their new remix album - 'Remix Marks Destination' - available for download on Monday 24th August.

The album features remixes from Whip cohorts such as Van She, Black Ghosts, Hearts Revolution, Black Affair, Crookers, Hadouken!, South Central, Bloody Beetroots, Bitchee Bitchee Ya Ya Ya, and Ashley Beedle.

The Whip are also offering all fans the chance to leave one of these gigs with a limited edition USB wristband containing a recording of one of the tour nights, with additional user storage space. These wristbands can be bought via the Whip's MySpace page, where fans can order the USB wristband and gig ticket package for the special price of £20 or simply order a gig ticket for any Whip tour date for £8.50 or £9.50 (Scala London).

The Whip are also playing Reading, Leeds, Creamfields and Connect festivals. September sees the band fly out to close the Ibiza Rocks season, with October bringing the band back to their hometown of Manchester play the Warehouse Project, sharing the night with Late of the Pier, Tricky, and Reverend and the Makers amongst others and paving the way for their November's tour dates listed below.
