The Automatic take to the road

Welsh band The Automatic have announced a Summer tour. The band, who are currently on tour, will be back on the road in June for a further nine shows.

The Automatic have also finished the recording of their new album a follow up to to 2006's 'Monster' debut album 'Not Accepted Anywhere'. They've been recording with new member Paul Mullen, after keyboardist Alex Pennie left in September 2007. The album is currently slated for a June 2008 release, with the single 'Steve McQueen' is expected to be released before that.

The new tour dates are:

Sun 15 June The Garage, Glasgow
Mon 16 June Northumbria University SU, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Tue 17 June The Rescue Rooms, Nottingham
Thu 19 June The Trinity Centre, Bristol
Fri 20 June Carling Academy, Birmingham
Sat 21 June Carling Academy, Sheffield
Sun 22 June Carling Academy, Oxford
Tue 24 June Scala, London
