Muse come to a big screen near you

See their gig in cinemas across the UK

news: Wednesday 5th March 2008

To celebrate the DVD release of Muse's sell-out Wembley Stadium shows last summer, Vue Entertainment are offering fans the chance to relive the experience in High Definition and 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound. The gig will be broadcast on Tuesday, 11th March at selected Vue Cinemas across the UK.

The event took place over the weekend of Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th June 2007 and saw the band play to over 135,000 fans against a backdrop of satellite dishes & antennas, two giant balloons and aerialists all of which were illuminated by a huge wall of video. Expect to see many of the band's recent hits including 'Knights of Cydonia', 'Starlight' and 'Super Massive Black Hole', and Muse classics including 'Plug in Baby', 'Time is Running Out' and a host others.

Tickets are £10 and on sale now at www.myvue.com or by calling 08712 240 240 or directly from participating cinemas.

James Dobbin, Head of Sales at Vue said: "We were really excited when Warner Music first approached us about showing the gig on our sites because Muse are such an explosive, theatrical band that they suit the big screen, surround sound cinema experience. That combined with the Wembley backdrop should make it an incredible night out."
