On the eve of the release of their new album, 'Accelerate', R.E.M. perform their first ever show at the Royal Albert Hall with support from Robyn Hitchcock, Foals, and The Duke Spirit.
R.E.M. are also playing four stadium shows at the end of August which will take place in Manchester, Cardiff, Southampton and Twickenham, follow the band's appearances at Oxegen and T In The Park festivals in July.
The stadium dates are:
Sunday 24th August Lancashire County Cricket Club, Manchester
Monday 25th August Millennium Stadium, Cardiff
Wednesday 27th August The Rose Bowl, Southampton
Saturday 30th August Twickenham Stadium, Twickenham
Tickets for the stadium gigs go on sale on Friday at 9am. Check back with eGigs on Friday morning to get tickets.
