The Subways have announced that their new album is finished, The bands say on their myspace: "Written, rehearsed, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered! It's all there, twelve songs of utter delight that makes me feel like dancing for as many years as Rip Van Winkle slumbered."

The dates are:
Tue 25 Mar Falmouth, Princess Pavillion
Wed 26 Mar Bristol, Thekla

Tue 1 Apr Dundee, Fat Sams
Wed 2 Apr Glasgow, Garage
Fri 4 Apr Leeds, Cockpit
Sat 5 Apr Manchester, Academy 3

Thu 10 Apr London, ULU

Tickets are available now and can be purchased from here.

The band are also offering their fans a chance to be in the video for their first single. On Monday, 18th of February, they are recording the video at Stoke Sugarmill.

The band announced on their myspace, "Some of you can even come along and be part of The Subways legacy (whatever that might be)! Find your very own faces on the screen in the midst of the madness that'll ensue. We'll be playing a full set, which'll most probably be littered with continual performances of the single in question - but hey, if Madonna played "Lucky Star" six times in an 45 minute set I'd feel pretty blessed. So some would consider those of you who do attend very lucky indeed! Though some may not. So we'll leave them to their Rick Astley albums."
