The bid was part of an auction on behalf of Children in Need. Other acts on the bill include Pete Townshend, Foreigner, Paolo Nutini and Bill Wyman And The Rhythm Kings.
The show is being held to raise money for the Ahmet Ertegun Education Fund, which pays for university scholarships in the UK, US and Turkey. The highly sought after tickets went on sale this October for £125 each.
