The Rolling Stones set to go bankrupt?

unlikely

news: Wednesday 3rd October 2007

The Rolling Stones allegedly bagged over half a billion dollars for their Bigger Bang World Tour, says the band's tour producer Michael Cohl, when speaking to American music magazine Billboard.

The tour ran for almost two years and allowed the group to amass a total of $558,255,524.

Four and half million people turned out to see the group play over 144 dates, ending at London’s O2 Arena on August 26th. Cohl summarised the experience by simply saying "It was a long tour, but more than anything it was fantastic."

Rumours have already circulated suggesting this will be The Stones last ever tour. But wasn't everyone saying that following the 40 Licks tour?
