Arctic Monkeys play secret Sheffield show

The Arctic Monkeys made a surprise return to the live music scene last night (Saturday February 10th) when they played a secret gig in their hometown of Sheffield.

The band played at The Leadmill, and debuted material from their forthcoming album 'Favourite Worst Nightmare'.

The show was only announced an hour before the gig. Songs that the band reported to have played include 'Fluorescent Adolescent', 'D Is For Dangerous' and 'Brainstorm' (which will be the first single off the new album).
