Glitter was charged with child sex abuse charges in the country of Vietnam, where he was supposed to remain in prison until November 2008, but Vietnamese officials have recommended that the singer should have his sentence reduced.
The decision will be made by three judges on February 7th, when it will be decided whether or not Glitter has to serve his full sentence.
