big names for Teenage Cancer Trust

The Who, Kasabian, The View, The Coral, & Noel Gallagher

news: Thursday 1st February 2007

Four names have been announced for this year’s teenage Cancer Trust gigs that take place at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Noel Gallagher will be joined by last week’s chart toppers The View, and Liverpool’s The Coral, over two nights, The View supporting on Monday March 26th and The Coral supporting on Tuesday Marc 27th.

Other acts set to perform are Kasabian, who will play on Thursday March 29th, and The Who on March 31st.

A special act is being lined up to play on March 30th, and we’ll bring you full details of who that is when the information becomes available. There are also more support acts still to be announced.

The Who’s Roger Daltrey (a patent of the Teenage Cancer Trust), said: “Over the years these shows have really made a massive difference to the money available to build TCT units in NHS hospitals. They also give our teenagers the moral support to help fight this terrible disease”.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow, (Friday February 2nd) at 9am. They will be available from here.
