news: Thursday 25th January 2007

David GrayTickets for David Gray's tour of small Scottish venues go on sale tomorrow (Friday 25th January) at 9.30am.

This is the opportunity to catch Gray in a small intimate venue, performing songs from his 16-year career, including material from his seven albums, re-workings of past hits, and never-before-heard songs.

Accompanying Gray on the tour will be long-term band members Robbie Malone and Neil MacColl, who appeared on Gray's first album ‘A Century Ends'.

The tour is aptly titled The Bare Bones Tour, with the name coming from an early Gray track 'Good For Nothing'. It promises a return to basics and will provide a rare opportunity to see Gray play in smaller venues.

Commenting Gray said "It feels right to do it, taking it right back to how I began."

There will be further tour dates for later in the year announced shortly. Tickets cost £20. To check availability click here.
