The band did tour in 2004 with Sammy Hagar stepping in to take charge of vocals.
This time round the band will also feature Eddie Van Halen's son Wolfgang in the line-up.
They are apparently planning a 40 date tour of the US, which will be the first time Roth has performed with the band in over 20 years.
As of yet there is no details of a UK tour but it is still early days.
